Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her family was born in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family from two siblings. Ghanizada started her TV career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri's production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate the performance, she received a nomination at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress. Television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. She has also appeared in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the action-science film Blood Shot.
