Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States and Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. She joined ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been since when she was nine years old. The ability to speak two languages allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She could work alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next assignment was an Sports Reporter for The CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009 she relocated from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting for KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. She was also often asked to be an anchor for weather and sports. Later, she was the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her larger responsibilities. She reported on events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. She was the producer of Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was advertised as anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She worked in the same position for Primer Impacto on UniMas Network, and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd, 1985, in Mexico City. She has an elder sister. Her family relocated from Mexico to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. The couple divorced shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. In the course of a family holiday in Ohio, younger Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. At the time of her senior year at high school, but with a clear idea what she would like to accomplish in her future, Antonietta visited the University of Mount Union to assess if it suited her requirements. It turned out that she loved the campus and they were offering the degree she was searching for. When she completed the requirements for high school, she enrolled in the University to pursue media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was part of her class, developed an ongoing relationship with her. Her professor urged her to have self-confidence and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
